Why Brychan
My Name is Anne Phillips
At Brychan Poetry Review, I focus on exploring the complexities of poetry through my creative writing and reviews. With my MA in poetry from Bangor University, I'm able to bring an informed and unique perspective to the art form. I'm particularly drawn to writing about the women in my family who can be traced to 16th & 17th Century Epynt and Llandeilo'r Fan, Brecon, as well as a 'faux' lineage which claims descent from Brychan the Saint of Brycheiniog. Through my work, I hope to bring a new appreciation for the art of poetry to my readers.
